Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps Performance in Peru, Q1 2022

During the first quarter of 2022, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Peru demonstrated varying performance trends in weekly downloads and active users.

inDrive. Save on city rides saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 40K by the end of March. Active users also showed a consistent upward trend, starting from about 417K in early January and reaching approximately 519K by the end of the quarter.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides experienced a decline in weekly downloads from around 27K at the end of December to about 12K by late March. However, active users grew steadily from 253K in early January to nearly 311K by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride had a decrease in weekly downloads from 18.5K in late December to around 12.5K by the end of March. Despite this, the app maintained a high number of active users, increasing from approximately 616K in early January to about 711K by the end of the quarter.

Beat Passenger: Find your ride showed a steady pattern in weekly downloads, fluctuating between 9.3K and 14K throughout the quarter. Active users for the app rose from about 132K in early January to a peak of approximately 178K in late February, before declining slightly to 149K by the end of March.

Cabify had relatively stable weekly downloads, ranging from 6.9K to 10.5K over the quarter. The app's active users grew steadily from around 97K in early January to approximately 113K by mid-March, before slightly declining to 110K by the end of the quarter.
